Manhattan, KS, 06-5-2025 - WTC is proud to announce the launch of free public Wi-Fi at Blue Earth Plaza, a popular destination for community events and gatherings in Manhattan. This enhancement is made possible through funding from the Advancing Digital Opportunities to Promote Technology (ADOPT) program, a grant initiative supported by the Kansas Office of Broadband Development.
This milestone underscores a shared commitment from WTC, the City of Manhattan, and the State of Kansas to foster digital inclusion and enhance underserved spaces through accessible technology. With the new public Wi-Fi, visitors to Blue Earth Plaza can now enjoy seamless Wi-Fi connectivity while attending events, relaxing outdoors, or spending time with friends and family.

Blue Earth Plaza now joins a growing network of Wi-Fi enabled areas across Manhattan and the state, reaffirming Kansas’s commitment to a more connected and inclusive future.
