Set-Top Box Quick Troubleshooting Guide

 

Step 1: Confirm the TV Input

  • Make sure your TV is on the correct input (HDMI1, HDMI2, AV, etc.).
  • If you're not seeing a picture, try switching through the inputs with your remote.

 

Step 2: Check the Connections

  • Ensure the HDMI cable is firmly plugged into both the set-top box and the TV
  • Confirm the power cord is securely plugged into the wall and the box.
  • Confirm the ethernet cord is securely plugged into the wall and box.

 

Step 3: Clear Any Obstructions

  • Make sure the set-top box is not blocked.

 

Step 4: Power Cycle the Box

  • Unplug the power cord from the set-top box.
  • Wait at least 20 seconds
  • Plug it back in and allow the box to reboot
